Utah Bill on TICs Waits to be Signed Into Law
By Michelle Napoli When Utah ended its 45-day 2005 state legislative session last Wednesday, among the bills waiting to be signed, vetoed or allowed to go into law without the signature of Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. was SB 64, which essentially excludes tenant-in-common transactions from the states definition of securities and thus allows all TIC deals in the state to be sold strictly as real estate.

Execs From Mammoth, Passco Decamp To Head CORE Realty Holdings

CORE Realty Holdings LLC has been established as a new sponsor based in Newport Beach, CA, and has brought on board Russ Colvin and Sterling McGregor as its president and CEO and its chief investment officer, respectively. With hefty backgrounds in the industry, neither are exactly unknowns.
