Boston & Jericho, NY—Newkirk Realty Trust Inc. closed its $240-million initial public offering, becoming the latest in a growing number of net lease focused REITs. It sold an additional $50 million of common stock in a private placement with First Union Real Estate Equity and Mortgage Investments.
