As expected, the tenant-in-common business was discussed by various committees at the National Association of Realtors’ annual conference in Orlando, FL earlier this month. While the association did not adopt a formal position on the circumstances under which real estate licensees should earn compensation for selling TIC investments, it did agree to a three-pronged course of action as a way to both foster industry dialogue and disseminate to members more information about the TIC business.
