As one-stop shops become increasingly popular—such as CB Richard Ellis' recent move to put some of its financing operations under the same roof as its brokerage—it seems that Encino, CA-based Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. is well-positioned. The organization, a subsidiary of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage Co., straddles the divide between lenders and more than 850 brokers scattered across the country, almost half of them in the multifamily area.
